About the role
Stellar is looking for Software Engineers (medior / senior level) to help us scale our voice AI agent platform. We're looking for team members who are able to work across the entire stack - from building fast, scalable backend services in Go to crafting intuitive user interfaces in React and TypeScript.

As an early member of our engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to help shape our architecture, development practices, and product and engineering roadmap.

This role is based out of our Amsterdam office. We value in-person collaboration and do not offer remote-only roles, but can accommodate up to 2 days remote per week.

What you'll do:

• Build performant, production-grade APIs and backend services in Go and Node.js
• Help design Stellar's AI agent framework
• Develop Stellar's frontend using React and TypeScript
• Design a scalable, fault-tolerant system architecture to support real-time voice applications with extremely low latency
• Design and implement a platform that meets enterprise standards in terms of security, compliance and data privacy
• Improve platform performance, observability, and developer experience
• Help shape the early engineering culture for a high pace tech startup operating at the forefront of AI capabilities

Who you are:

• 4+ years of professional experience building and shipping software (we are accepting applications ranging from medior to senior+ level)
• Comfortable with Go, Node.js, and/or TypeScript (bonus if you know all three)
• Experience building across the full stack, from frontend to backend to infrastructure level
• Proactive, self-directed, and excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy
• Fluent in English; Dutch or other European languages are a plus

€70.000 - €100.000 + equity
